Perpetually in the midst of another writing project, I’m playing with more fun non-fiction, including a book of silly poetry, and the real-life story of an astrocat. (Yes, that’s a thing.)

And, I’ve also written three contemporary middle grade novels–SHRINK, SHORT and CAST OFF.

My fiction and non-fiction articles have appeared in children’s magazines, including Highlights for Children, Ladybug, Nature Friend, Primary Treasure and Girls’ Life.

“Roxanna Banana”–about a yellow and white Burmese python, was published in a primer for children in Vietnam, Guam and Indonesia after their schools were lost to a tsunami.
